Some will put less emphasis on foods and drinks and instead have all kinds of fun in new places, beaches, clubs, church, charity work and many more.
Others do nothing short of feasting with friends, family and relatives all through the days, up to the New Year, which reminds me about the subject of weight gain and loss.
This is basically the best chance for those who want to get fuller than they have ever been before, especially if their culture of Christmas holidays is eating and relaxing.
Simultaneously, those who have been struggling with excess weight stand a chance to get better or worse, all this depending on how well they control their eating.
Our body types and feasting
I cannot count the number of times I have wished I had a different body type from the one that I indubitably own- that which is not genetically slim.
Unfortunately, it is not many women of my black people race are lucky to have this body that is exulted all over the planet.
There is definitely a big share of fresh, describing our behind, which is why loosing weight is obviously handwork.
I apparently realize that having been an inheritor of the ?big body genes?, having a trim body for a person like me is pure toil and once I get this body, the next step is sustaining the exercise program more someone's extrinsic associate be favourable on every side concerning treaty with admiration forth 'at hand directions my champion to offloading barely satisfactory.
See, people of my type will never sit back and feast properly without a part of their heart suffering insecurity that they might gain weight again, and risk humiliations and rejection all over again.
If I were genetically slender, I would be the happiest woman on earth, because I would have a chance of feasting all the foods I desire just like these lucky divas this Christmas and New Year periods.
But, is life not ironic? Those whose bodies record no change even if they ate all the sugary and junks, popular for increasing weight, hate eating.
I am not saying that the fat people love nothing but food; some get this way because of other reasons like hypothyroidism, while other bodies just get fat that is hard to burn.
Those who are like me know that all their efforts to loose weight this year might just be ruined in just about five days to new year, if they do not watch what they eat!
So, even though I would love to eat a lot, I cannot help it to listen to one of those inner voices related to my body and weight problem.
Which is why I got one big stress this Christmas since I can not stop my salivary glands from over functioning, I really got to be vigilant with my eating.
One may say that a little will not be poisonous in a day, but some of these foods have a way of getting one addicted unconsciously.
Once you step on that scale after this Christmas feasts, you might not like what you see, if you are my type.
It is typically very easy to gain weight than it is loose it, which is why the extra pounds gained during this Christmas will put some of us in a program to shed these.
Some times I wonder when people of my body type will ever get a break.
